  My daughter has sought help for mental problem for 9 years now, and went to Dr Streitfeld upon a recommendation from her current psychologist. She was surprised that the doctor listened and worked with her on drugs and dosages, and on that alone, this review would have more stars. However, part and parcel to my daughter's illness is an onset of anxiety and agoraphobia when it comes time to keep an appointment. This is what she is seeking treatment for, and yet Dr Streitfeld's office now refuses to keep her as a patient because of missed appointments! Talk about a Catch-22. With these policies, can she ever actually get treatment anywhere? Do they understand the nature of their business, or is it all just easy money for them, eschewing patients whose illness creates inconvenience for them? And yet we hear on the news about the mentally ill "falling through the cracks". Well, here is one explanation for that.
