  My wife and I have had Cigna Health care for over 20 years. A recent network change had us looking for a new PCP this year. So we did days of research and my wife and I finally decided on Monica Moore. Per Cigna she was accepting new patients and she was associated with 2 Medical facilities I have used in the past. Over the past 2 weeks I have had issues breathing especially at night & someone said I best get it checked out that it could be pneumonia (I'm 63 years old). I called her office today and was told she is not accepting new patients. Her name is on my Cigna card as our PCP. I explained my situation and breathing issues - still not accepting. The receptionist said they have been meaning to let Cigna know she is not accepting new patients - I told them a lot of good that does me today (Failure of their office to pro actively resolve their problem). I explained that I am also a retired Air Force veteran locally from DMAFB - still no sympathy. This all has me now scrambling to find a new PCP and I am sure not feeling well enough to deal with this today...
