  She is a very nice lady and an almost competent doctor. She does listen, but would not prescribe natural desiccated thyroid, saying it was inconsistent. She relied entirely on test results and not how i felt. She also did not know the symptoms of hypothyroid. When I complained of painful joints and sore muscles, she said they had nothing to do with my thyroid and suggested testing for arthritis. It was then I found another doctor.

  This doctors office was extremely horrible to try to get into. You need a referal (which I had sent to them January 23rd) and still have not heard back from them. They have a very lengthy process of getting the referal, having the assistant review it, then Dr. Barsony herself. I understand there are policies but I started calling them January 13th when I found out my results and have had little to no help. I was sent to the assistants voicemail 3 times (she NEVER) responded or called back. I thought it would be convenient to look at a doctor's office in Tucson since I am here for school, but at this point I have called an office back home in Phoenix and got rendered and scheduled an appointment within 2 days. I am very disappointed because I was rendered to Dr. Barsony by a friend who said really great things about the office when I recieved very little from the office.

  Stay away from that place ... They have people with no skills answering the phone, they think they can be rude to patients because the patients need them, they forgot that patients are the ones who are giving them money to live... let this place run out pf patients then they will change the way they talk to people
