- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Lara was patient and helpful prior to my tonsillectomy. I had some medication issues over a weekend and Dr Lara's partner, Dr Kang, could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The only regret I have is not finding out more about laser tonsillectomy vs traditional methods. My recovery was very difficult and I believe that is a product of the laser removal. The laser removal may not be the best option for everyone.August 29, 2017by A Google User
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Lara's staff overbooks or he is slow. I waited an hour before getting a hearing evaluation to test for Vertigo. The Dr who gave the test was great and I receive valuable info from her about allergies. I waited another twenty minutes before they found a room for me. Then waited another half hour before seeing an assistant who was very nice. Then thirty minutes later I saw Dr Lara who offered little and had no questions about my symptoms. They like to do expensive tests first and consult later. It's like a shot in the dark. The next test they wanted to do was an extensive 45 minute test with lights, positions and possible side effects, some very serious, which I declined. If he had just asked me I could have told him about my experience with dizziness over the past 40 years. My impression is they push expensive testing and talk later. The practice was definitely in need of upgrading as there was no restroom within the office, the equipment was antiquated and quality office help needed improvement. Although the office staff was very pleasant, they were not on the ball. When I made the appointment (which was cancelled twice by them), I was told the appointment would be a fraction of the time it actually took, which was important to me being hypoglycemic.
