  In January two years ago they told my daughter that the next time she would get her braces off and then would do the hard-line collection when we were making the next appointment. I would not give it to them as we didn't think things were done or that the service that was provided was of the standard of care. This went on for months every visit they said next visit they would be coming off and then the hard-line collection came not just when we would be leaving in front of everyone in the office but in the form of phone calls to my home and when I would tell them that I didn't have it they would tell me I was in violation of my contract. I knew it was too soon and they were just looking to be paid for an incomplete job. I consulted with another Orthodontist (Dr Candice Walters) and she told us that there was one tooth that was too high and that it should have been taken care of first and that there was another that still needed 12 months to get it straight. Her price to fix the botched job of Dr Weaver was $2,700.00. When I got the next degrading phone call from Weaver's office that I needed to payoff the contract or they wouldn't see my daughter again. This time my friend was at my house that had told me that Weaver frequented Topless bars here in town at lunch time. I handed him the phone and he told them to stop harassing me over the balance until the job was close to completion and threw in tell Weaver to stay away from the topless joints and he won't need the money so soon. Two days later I got a letter saying that I had violated the contract and Dr Weaver wouldn't see my daughter anymore. I had no intentions of returning to his office anyway but he left my daughters braces in a state where wires were cutting her, the job was not done and what was done was done wrong. The worst part is when we went to Dr Candice Walters to start over my daughter had enough as it is cruel to tell a 15 year old girl each month (for 6 months) that her braces would be taken off on the next visit. She had come to a point where she just wanted them off and didn't want to continue as it was a terrible experience and still doesn't trust doctors. I paid Dr Walters $750.00 to remove them so $3,700.00 to Weaver for a job that I feel fell below the standard of care and $750.00 to get his braces off by Dr Walters. I think that at the very least the funds should be returned.
