  One of the very few bashas left in tucson. But if they were all like this one they would have still been open. Looks like it has been remodeled inside so it is very clean and new. The atmosphere is like a modern woody enviroment. Lots of darj oak stained crates and baskets everywhere. Personally i love this design. More importantly the prices are really good. As always you need to know what to shop for but there are not many things you can reach for and say "that was cheaper at food city." Since im cheaper than a college student on a budget my favorite little area was a rack in the back of all the produce. $0.99 for a bag of random produce... i bought 2.

  Great bakery, deli, pharmacy, and store in general. The remodel made it look much nicer and it's definitely a more personal shopping experience. Also points for produce, variety (considering it's a bit smaller), and cleanliness. Since it is a tad smaller of a store, occasionally they are short staffed at check-out or customer service but they always try to quickly remedy it and the staff are great!
