  I went to Valley ENT with extreme facial pain and history of jaw surgery. Dr. Zacheis spent a few minutes with me, was dismissive when discussing the conclusions of the dentist and endodontist I had seen before (that my teeth were not causing the pain), and scheduled me for a CT scan three weeks away. I returned to see Dr. Zacheis the next day at Valley ENT’s east location with the same pain and additional facial swelling. Dr. Zacheis told me that I probably had a bad tooth that required a root canal. After I broke down crying from pain in the exam room, Dr. Zacheis prescribed antibiotics, steroids, and painkillers. Long story short: My dentist got me in to see an endodontist later that same day who did an exam and a CT scan on the spot. Nothing wrong with my teeth. The endo sent me to a different ENT who diagnosed a soft tissue infection which requires the removal of surgical plates and screws in my upper jaw. I am very unhappy with my experience at Valley ENT, and Dr. Zacheis’ bedside manner left a lot to be desired. I will be getting my medical care elsewhere.
